Ryan Hamilton & Patricio Bruno write, compose, produce and publish their music as the musical duo ALKALIMETRY.
With 5 singles released, an up-and coming debut album, hundreds of thousands worldwide streams and downloads on all digital media platforms including iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc, international radio airplay, excellent reviews and critically acclaimed music videos, ALKALIMETRY is a hot new talent in the alternative/new wave/indie music scene. Their single "Bee Sting" reached the top 10 on the ReverbNation charts.
Born in Boston, raised in Chicago and then Deltona, Ryan has played guitar since childhood and has performed with bands in his youth and young adulthood. He comes from a musical family- his uncles were key players in the foundation of Motown Records many years ago in Detroit.
Patricio was born and raised in New York City. As a teenager, he became involved in the NYC dance music scene and was a studio keyboardist. As a "club kid," he spent time playing for bands and hanging out in the New York club scene- CBGB's, Limelight, and other clubs. He left the music industry for a while to study medicine, have kids and serve in the military. He now returns to music with new life experiences that inspire his writing.
Their musical influences include Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Marilyn Manson, Alphaville to name a few. But they credit influence to a wide variety of genres and music. "Good music is good music."
Their music has been best described as Alternative Goth Rock with Industrial influences. Their inspiration includes current events, personal struggles, and their intelligent lyrics span topics such as drug addiction (Bee Sting), AI and the social dependency on technology ( Hey There!), experience on the battle field (Helicopter Diaries), reminiscence on lost love (Lessons in Love), COVID and social injustice (Give Me a Light) to name a few.
Their self-titled debut album is due out spring/summer 2022 and possibly, a tour.
